| Telephone Account Manaer |

Our client is an established reseller of Telephone systems based in Leeds. They currently have a vacancy for a telephone account manager who will be responsible for making regular calls to existing business customers to make sure that services are running smoothly and also for upselling any additional services that are available. Commission is paid to the telephone account manager on any additional orders.
This telephone account manager role will suit someone who is used to dealing with business customers over the telephone in a customer service, telephone account manager or sales capacity. You do not need to have telecoms experience as training will be provided.

| Linux Systems Administrator |
£32-38k |

Our client is a highly successful satellite communications service provider facilitating network services over satellite to sites all across the UK and Europe. They are currently looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator.
The job will be as follows:
- trouble shooting and optimising Unix (mainly Linux) servers and related storage and network components.
- There will be continuous monitoring and maintaining of networks and servers.
- Administer in-house operational support systems
- Provide customer-facing 3rd level support for remote wireless and satellite equipment
- Document designs, configurations, and procedures for system administration
- Support training and certifying of Virtual Network Operators
- Support routine network management tasks
Essential Skills
- 3 years experience of Linux Administration
- 2 years experience of server and storage virtualisation
- 2 years experience of shell scripting
- Ability and willingness to work occasionally long hours under pressure
- A good computer science degree of equivalent
Desireable Skills
- Linux accreditations
- Exposure to HP Blades and SANs
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and Cisco IOS
- Familiarity with open source tools such as Drupal, nagios, smokeping, and cacti
- Service provider experience
- Previous experience of Windows system administration and of using Microsoft Office
The company operates 24x7 services and this role is required to participate in the on-call rota to support out of office hours emergency support and routine maintenance
SALARY £32-38k depending on experience |
